Commission for of a portrait of Thunderstick from the Bravestarr cartoon.
One thing I've always wondered about Thunderstick is how his head works. His "jaw hinges" are attached to a hallow pole (neck) sticking out of his chest, and the "jaw" (also attached to the neck pole) just kinda flaps openly when he speaks. You can see right thru his head every time he opens his mouth. It's like he's missing the entire back of his face. How does he hold his head up? Or even form words?
Strange facial design aside I still find his appearance quite awesome.

He was an outlaw who was part of Tex Hex's gang. When he's not in jail for acting like a jerk he'd join in raids on the various settlements.

I presume he has a vocorder and the moving jaw was something his creator added to make him more relatable to humans
His vocorder clearly malfunctions. Perhaps his programming was too, making him become a rogue AI

I really wish there was some kind of origin story for Thunderstick. The guy is an endless amount of mysteries.
Or maybe its better without one, since the mystery is part of the appeal.
