What is it with me and robots? And outlaws. Robotic outlaws. Outlaw robots.... You get the idea.
I seem to have a thing for robots. (And scientists who build them.)
This began as a quick few minute sketch of Thunderstick, couldn't stop, and now it's colored with a background. What can I say, I felt like drawing some good old fashioned cowboy robot, from the 1980s cartoon Bravestarr.
Looks like Thunderstick got himself into a fight. Being an outlaw has that effect.

The way his arm is posed, it's almost like he got shot in the chest and, since he's a robot, he's really angry and insulted that someone would go and do a thing like that.

Funny thing is I just emailed the voice actor that did ThunderstickΒ a few hours ago.
Too bad T.S. chose the outlaw way of life - more than likely he probably angered Tex-Hex or Stampede again.

Ahem. This looks very awesome, I like the pen-look if that makes sense- makes it fit the 'rough western' colours. Β You pulled that canon off expertly o.o
