Thank you for letting me know what happened, because I never knew just how many seasons Bravestarr got. I did get to watch on how Filmation went out of business for an old video on Youtube. *It might still be there.* It was a bit grieved by that, but at the same token we did some decent shows from them.
Here's that video I mentioned. www.youtube.com/watch?v=IauV2hβ¦
I don't think that Bravestarr or Ghostbusters get mentioned much, but it does talk about the Filmation animation crew.

Thunderstick sounds like a very primitive euphemism for a shotgun XD

Man, that'd be cool. I wish I had STARZ so I could see that new Ash vs Evil Dead thing they got.

I like that someone commissioned you to draw Bravestarr art. What a perfect little thing to happen.
It's nice to see Thunderstick after so long! You've really improved since your last Thunderstick drawings.
I guess this means I should see how well I can draw Scuzz...

Being paid to draw Bravestarr art is a dream come true. Especially Thunderstick related!
My gosh, why do I not watch this cartoon more often? Rewatching scenes for reference brought back so many wonderful memories...

That cartoon really didn't deserve the fate that it got. If it was released a mere year or two earlier, it wouldn't have had to compete with both The Real Ghostbusters and TMNT in the same year and people probably would've remembered its existence better. Poor Thunderstick.
Also you forgot to mention that macho man Thunderstick's best friend is a rodent who smokes. But then again, it makes a TON of sense that the robot is best buddies with the outlaws' mechanic.

I still have the hat to mine. No idea what happened to the rest of him
One of these days Im gonna snag one off Ebay
Hey, think you could do a pic of the actual toy style? It's quite different from the show model

I really want the Bravestarr toys. Even if the characters look so different from the show. But man those things are hard to find and expensive.

I imagine the visual discrepancies were on Filmation's part. Artistic liscense to aid animation, or going off early design sketches that changed during production
Thunderstick though has the greatest amount of discrepancy from his toy design

Yeah, I think was early designs the toys used. Cause the older concept art for the show Thunderstick looks more like the toy.

Of course it's also possible the art department decided to take some liberties.
Take the G1 Transformers for instance. All the toys came first. But Floro Dery at Sunbow reworked the designs for animation purposes.
So people who bitch about toys not being "Show accurate" are barking up the wrong tree
