I was coming up with a different technique and did this.I really like how this design came out.
A friend of mine said that this is what happens when you merge Gandalf with Dumbledore.

I love the almost caricature quality of the face, and even more so that it doesn't come across as a comical effect. It's also quite intriguing how you avoided giving him a clear alignment. He could just as easily be a maddened/tyrannical/evil wizard as he could be a good, serious one. The colors you chose also give the piece a very warm atmosphere that could be easily seen as either amidst a fiery battle, or within a dream. All together it's a very lovely piece.
