Okay! Yay! I finished something!
... Believe it or not, that's been really hard for me lately.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I edited the form a little, since I had too many cute expressions to show. Oh! And the expressions are flat-colored, the fullbody pics above have shading which I am particularly proud of, by the by.

Optional Moves: Magical Leaf, Sweet Kiss, Wish, Metronome, Peck, Last Resort
Held Item: Revival Herb (enough for her once, and then a little bit left over for a smaller pokemon.)

History: She was raised from the egg by a very energetic, enthusiastic, and loving Coordinator. As a Togepi, Yani was spoiled by her trainer and team. It didn't take a lot of time for her to evolve into a Togetic, and she still was the baby of her team. Her trainer was famous in the Contest circles, and even Yani herself was gaining a bit of a fandom as her trainer rose in ability.
One night, her trainer stayed in Celadon for a night as she was on her way to Saffron for a contest. A raging fire started in the bed-and-breakfast that they were staying in. Turns out, that night some other prominent trainers were staying at the same place, and that the fire was carefully planned arson by Team Rocket. Yani's trainer was able to save the rest of the team from the Rockets, but Yani was captured because it liked to sleep outside of its pokeball.
The Team Rocket grunt that captured her didn't know what to do with a pokemon that had only been physically captured, since Yani was strong enough that she couldn't be captured by his pokeballs. So he put her in a cage in the Celadon hideout's basement.

So how did Yani, a Togetic, become a Togekiss?
Well, it's how she got that egg, too.

Apparently, some grunts were hazing a new recruit, and dared him to go and evolve the crazy Togetic in the basement. Since they hid the light stones from the newbie, he had to go out and find a stone on his own. The newbie searched Celadon, to no avail. Then he tried Saffron, but has the same result. Finally, he trudged down to Vermilion. Under the docks, he found a green-yellow gem that he assumed was a light stone.

The newbie returned to Celadon, happy as could be. Before anyone could throw him out, he raced down into Team Rocket's base and threw this gem in the cage with the Togetic. To his horror, the senior members recognized this 'gem' as a Pokemon Egg when he rushed pass. But it was too late for them: Yani's motherly instincts had kicked in.

Eventually, the same newbie got his hands on a real light gem, and used it on Yani. But not before he got a sincere berating for giving the Egg to Yani.

Personality: Naturally very modest and withdrawn. Like any sane pokemon, though, she responds negatively to abuse, and her Nasty Plot and Aura Sphere have combined to give her a nasty reputation among the Rockets. After she was given the egg, she began unleashing Future Sight and Air Slash on anyone who came near. It's made the basement pretty neglected, though.
*ahem* Back to her personality... She's really protective of the egg, and for the most part she's an agreeable pokemon to decent persons. If anyone spoils her, though, she'll get used to it really quickly. She is still the Jubilee pokemon, and she doesn't like being in the Rocket's hideout. If she can, she'll escape, but the combined fear and might of the Rocket grunts and their pokemon has managed to keep her locked up in the basement.

Battle Style: If she was a human fighter, she'd fight with flaming arrows imbued with ki. She's definitely a long-range fighter if she can be, but she isn't horrible at throwing her weight around the battle arena, either. She's also the type to dazzle with some really nice move combination and then run away. (She learned how to coordinate moves from her wonderful Coordinator and her contest experiences. She likes winging it, no pun intended.)
