I didn't even think Deus Ex's endings were even that bad. Sure you see the same slideshow in all them but at least you had different paths to take

You know, Kai Leng looks kinda like the guy from Deus: Ex HR Like it is almost a carbon freaking copy.

It's common for the modern gaming industry to 'borrow' things. A lot.

Yeah, but look at them side by side, they are almost twins

The endings were so GRIMDORK. So edgy and cool, Bioware EA.

Amen to that. If we compare DE ending and 'this' one, DE is the winner. No doubt.

lol gives shepard tissue. I feel your pain buddy. I hope they send out alternative ending. lol thats all I can say at this point. The small victory at the end doesn't make up for the great sacrifices made. I felt defeated after the game. maybe that was the whole idea. but I play games to feel good not bad lol

Amen to that. When I play a game, I want to feel myself cool/good/excited/etc., but not beaten/depressed/f*cked.
So yeah, screw that ending. All three of them (cuz they're all suck).

ya know my friend showed me an interesting video that explains that we were under the influence of indoctrination. And that the last battle was the battle inside shepards head. very clever interesting video. here is the link if you want to take a looksies. [link]

I've heard about those theories, yes.
Indoctrination or not, developers cheated gamers (all that crap about endings, closure and all the stuff they 'forget' to include in the final product). So fans are in their right to sound their disappointment.

Apparently dragon age 2 had a similar problem with the ending, but i wasnt to taken with the first one.
Though this does give me even more reason to yell "EA doesnt care about you", what with them screwing games up, origins and some of those ad campaigns theyve done not so long ago...

Dragon Age 2 was a 'one walkthrough' game for me. After beating it I had no desire to launch it ever again. Actually, I finished it just to see the ending. Original DA game has a crappy game mechanics, but at least it was interesting (and big).
EA doesn't give a f*ck. (for a long time) And now they refuse to admit their failure with ME3, pretending that there are no thousands of enraged players out there. It'll be a pleasure to see how it'll bankrupt.

I don't believe all that crap about '... games in one'. Usually it's just one campaign with different openings/cinematics. Remember 'Dawn of War: Retribution'? The same crap.
And you're right, with that amount of brainless excited 'tamed fans' EA can go on with screwing them in any fashion it likes.

The only game i can remember that was actually several games in one, that came out i nthe last few years, was the orange box.
Oh and with DoW, i tend to play dark crusade, i can still basically have a double sized necron in it and insanely powerful tau units ^^
Well it is EA, the only company in the industry who admitted their goal was to be the only one in the industry...
Oh and well known for buying up then ruining more popular but smaller companies...
