FULL VIEW!!Reaching for a place . . . a celestial, heavenly world to which he can belong . . .
Yeah, just my half harpy, half angel character Finch in front of...um....clouds :B. He's a bit older-looking here than I usually draw him....I'm still trying to decide on what age to make him XD. How old does he look to you guys, in this pic? I can't figure it out XD.
Anyway, his story, which I've been writing and have written 18,500 words of so far
, involves the search for his father (an angel), and along the way, betrayal....trust....love 8D....ACTION/life-death chase scenes!....and self-identity and growth~......(it is going to be quite the bildungsroman 8D.)SO, this was just pointless practice with drawing humans without using a reference....yeah...I already see lots of errors |D;. Oh well, I had fun :B. Crits are accepted, though~! I would love to improve
. Something about the eyes still seems off, though...I wonder if anyone is even gonna like this |D;;;;. ......I lack so much confidence about my people-drawing that it's not even funny |D;. ....Okay, maybe it is a little.

the details on this are AMAZING. i love the style, but i see what you mean about the eyes -- i think a lot of it has to do with that a simpler, more cartoony style has leaked into your human realism. maybe making them less sphere-like and more football-shaped like human eyes would fit the picture better? also the whites seem a little TOO white. it makes them stand out a lot. [unless that's what you want]. otherwise this is awesome, you've improved so muchh!! : ]

I think it looks really good, very impressive work on this one. Great looking colors and fantastic work with the details. I like his expression, even if he looks older I think he still has a child-like expression.

.............hmm...I haven't decided XD. Maybe at least like the first part...or I could at least tell you the summary or something XD;. The thing is, I wouldn't want to post the whole thing in case I ever wanted to do anything with the story someday like...(in my dreamslol) getting it published or making it into the script for a comic or a children's illustrated book (though I'd have to tone down...the violence and stuff |DDD -dies-), or something.
