Many of the main characters from my novel-in-progress (although a rouuuugh draft exists at about 400 pages BD) Finch! Title is a work in progress as well |D.I just wanted to put these guys all together in a "poster"-type composition and work on their designs some more 8D.
From left to right is...
Lumina the childish, young feathered-serpent
Asena the mischievous pixie
Snow the swan-harpy princess 8D (her dress design isn't final XD; but it's supposed to remind you of water and a swan's orange-and-black beak...? But the orange looks kinda awkward)
Finch the harpy/angel, the titular character BD
Skoll the evil wolf (one of the more minor-but-major-later villains/allies 8D what a twist!) who doesn't look very happy
Jay the Steller's jay harpy
And Zealix the feathered-serpent
Missing are many of the total of (as of now) 18 named characters, and I don't even have the main villain here XD.
Umm...this was fun...8D. The anatomy's all over the place, but this was just for fun SO...

Very nice, this looks great. Excellent work on the details in this one and great looking colors. They all look like interesting characters, I like the distinct look they each have. Great poses and expressions.

i have an idea,if it helps, you could make the orange surround the black like two colour lace.
hope that helps out some. also, can't wait to read the novel. and nice job with the characters.

I love the composition of this, so many charries and poses, plus the sheer variety's incredible! I didnt know many of these were in the same story, thats pretty cool!
I think I like finch and snow here best, but then, the harpies in general have such a nifty design to them. :3

I love the two feathered serpents, and the girl's swan-like dress is really cute! Also, the halo around the feather is an adorable little touch. Great job!

... Yeah, I decided I should have made this comment at the image, so:
"Really nice job on the image. I see you worked the replica skull into it. XD Your color choices are fabulous and I think all three characters have good faces. I'm especially impressed by the profile shot. The girl's head looks odd to me, though. The tilt of her head and the way the hair goes behind her ear. Still, very nice and the poses make them seem lively rather than stiff."

Sheesh you really didn't get many comments on this one! I thought about it earlier, but shame on my laziness!
These are really unique-looking characters. Finch has some neat hair going on, and with the halo there it really looks neat on him. I love all the wings too! Other then that it looks like you've got some great variety going on, I'll bet it makes for an interesting story! The title "Finch!" sounds great to me too.

Haha, this rocks so hard. I feel you were able to capture every character's personality with their poses here (if I do indeed know them that well enough xD xD) : Finch the level-headed, Jay the confident, and Snow the regal (and is it just me, or do I get a bit of Yue from Avatar in her? It's probably the hair.
Those chains on Finch's pants remind me oh-so-slightly of everyone's favorite Disney-world-hopping, Keyblade-wielding 15-year old, which is not a bad connection to make. I like costumes that wouldn't be practical here but are otherwise normal for other worlds

the orange and black deisng on her dress was my favorite part. You are really good at character group shots. i love this. and the wolves' head is -amazing- and i want Finch's jacket
