Description
Man created machine, and he saw it was good.Man is still the flawed creation.
This is a take on one of the panels that can be found in the Sistine Chapel Ceiling, The Creation of Adam. I have had this idea floating around in my head for quite some time now, but i finally got to put it into an image
With all the intensity on religion in these past weeks i thought that this might have a place. I had this vice clamp thingy lying around my house and thought it would make a cool "hand" ENJOY!

tripod w/ quick release plate
Hoya Circular Polarizer
32" reflector (gold side from underneath)
Shot in RAW (NEF) and converted/edited in PS7
If you ever get a chance read Voltaire's "Candide." Its a brilliant piece of work that deals with religion and belief systems.

wow amazing shot, how did u get a perfectly dark background may i ask?

It was actually pretty easy, i just used two of my SB800s and shot them into the ceiling and used a fast shutter speed, that way only the hand/arm would be lit. The black background would stay black since the shutter isn't open long enough to capture the light that bounces around on the background.

Good work and allβ¦β¦.but if man created something, he can only create something that is at most, as good as he. If so, then the machine is more or equally flawed as man.
But I like the whole, technology is becoming a religion for some people, and the parody of The Creation of Adam.
