This is my best Jesus drawing so far. ^_^ I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. Hopefully He is too, even if it's not colored or inked. (Is it me, or did this turn out Prince of Eygpt style?)Related content

i came here from looking at ATLA stuff which was gorgeous, and i saw your OC's, and they are gorgeous, and Jesus! Jesus is so gorgeous!!!! Ive been in an artist's block since june, and its mad me very sad but these drawings have inspired me to keep trying

They are! Think about it, Jesus means 'salvation'-- how fitting is that?

It DOES have a Dreamworks quality. And by the way, God bless you for being one of the few people left who remembers Prince of Egypt nowadays. Really, the way He looks so serene yet optimistic is actually pretty refreshing from the overly familiar doe-eyed Christ we see everywhere.

Of course I agree. I assume that Dreamworks is trying to go for a happy medium-- Moses and Joseph are central figures in Judiasim (and surprisingly Islam) as well as Christianity. As a company they must try to produce something that most people can enjoy. (How cool would it be if they actually made a good movie about Jesus though? I'd go see it in a heartbeat!)

They should also try to stay on the truth of the Bible.

Right because Jesus is the only way to eternal life in the Father.
I am a Christian I'm seeking Him everyday of my life.
That would make more people want that relationship with Jesus.

Perhaps... the person seeing the movie would want to first choose for themselves if they WANT to believe. No one can force someone into anything, even if it's the best thing for them. That's all a part of God's gift to us-- a free will, so that we can love Him because we chose to, not because we were made to. See what I mean?
