Not really sure why, but as soon as I pick up a paint brush and start painting with watercolours, my mind somehow automatically goes on cruise control and goes down macabre / dark street and it's kinda worrying me a little.
Subconsciously I'm probably traumatized with hair in some horrific macabre way and it just comes through in my artwork haha. Hence all the strange-looking girls with bloody tinges and flowy hair. I should definitely try to paint something pretty and happy next time!
Hoping you like this one! It's another step towards getting comfortable with watercolours, trying new materials and different watercolour technique and style~

I actually do!!! Well, I'm planning to make youtube videos for my processes both digitally and traditionally! I haven't had a chance to do a watercolour one yet, but I'm literally uploading a digital speedpaint for my latest drawing right now on my channel

!!!!! I was actually going to do that haha. My best friend has a gopro camera which she got recently and I was thinking maybe recording some vids of me painting! Maybe even some tutorials or whatnot. Would be real fun!

This is one of my favorites of your traditional media works. The loose bleeding colors in contrast with the defined monochrome eyes is striking. I'm faving this one in hopes that there's a print option eventually.
