The Mastodon was an early heavy tank and an attempt to make the 88mm Flak more mobile. 85mm maximum armor was good at the time, but as the war progressed, there was an upgraded version with 125mm of armor, as well as some variants, including a very heavy flamethrower.Related content

However: The first is the heavy tank, basically an early carrier for the 88mm KwK. Left are the open-topped air-defense variant, also with an 88mm weapon in the turret. Below it would be a 170mm artillery weapon, open-topped with no turret.
Mid is an improved tank variant, mounting the longer 88mm L71. Right are the assault vehicles, the first replaces turret and main gun with a short-barrelled 75mm weapon and a very heavy flamethrower. The second is an assault gun with a 105mm L/68 weapon.

Similar to the prototype heavy tank, which eveloved into the Tiger. Very heavy and unwieldy, but possible, I think.
