Description
This is a re-do of Maika and Ryo's old sheet. They are very important characters so I thought I'd touch em up a bit as I think about their role in the story.

Character Information: Maika and Ryo are both fiercely loyal older wolves whose strength of will have not faded over the years. Their mating was originally somewhat of a betrothal, but they've come to care deeply about the other since then. Ryo is always something of a class clown, but Maika is usually serious. They had four children, one of which is Terrana Loverde.

What program do you use to create this type of ''manga/anime'' wolf art?

I use Photoshop CS4 usually (and for this pic), but I will be posting some new art that I created in GIMP (a free imaging software.) I don't think that they will look that different; I'm more comfortable in PS so I'm faster with that program.

Yup, these are important characters in my Knife's Edge story. They haven't really been introduced as of yet, but they'll be coming along pretty soon (once I have time to update.) Thanks for the comment!

Haha yeah I thought that when I looked at the sketches. Maika was ref-less but I did use a reference photo for Ryo's pose and that real wolf must've had a hella huge brain or something because his head was big. xD

Lovely character designs, I particularly like Maika's, the patterning is both subtle and beautiful. I like how you've drawn their eyes too, they're both really expressive.
