This was an idea I had for a while and was prompted to create it for a contest is holding, but I hadn't completed it in time.
Featured are all the super form characters
Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, Silver, and Blaze.
They are at the Master Emerald shrine on Angel Island watching the sun set.

Probably because they only made like, 5 girls in the whole series. >.>

I wish Amy had a super form. I would love to add her to the collection of heroes.
But, I don't mind having just Blaze for the moment, she makes for such a cute pink fiery kitty.

Yeah, she's a hedgehog, so she might end up yellow. However, she's also female, so they might give her a different color to differentiate. I wonder what color she would be? If her dress doesn't change, it'd likely be something that compliments red.

I'm sure she's be yellow, but I think it'd be a little more impressive to make her a little different.
Hedgehogs seem to like yellow. Silver's yellow, Sonic's yellow, Shadow's yellow...
I'd be impressed if they gave her a different dress. c: Something epic to fit the part of being super.

Part of me wants to see her hair grow up. Maybe she could be a parody of a super saiyan three and gain longer hair when she goes super.

Very nice! I like your usage of lighting techniques. The green glow of the Master Emerald is really cool, and I like how it's properly visible on the ground just beneath it.
I also like the blur motion you used for Tails' talis (lol).

Thank you. Lighting was something that had been mentioned to me in previous drawings, so I wanted to make an attempt to implement it here. I'm pleased that it has been commented on positively.
hehe, it's the first time I've used motion blur in one of my drawings, so I'm happy that it came out well.

Thanks, I tried really hard to bring out the colors in this one. Also, since many of the characters were shades of yellow (and had red eyes) I tried to make each shade distinct from the other. I think that came out very well.
Oh, and Tails is super as well with his four flickies. Unless I misunderstood what you meant by "except tails!"

o know i think i was mistaking, i have never know for Tails to have a super form XD lol i must of red the description wrong.
Wow using different shades is very clever. I find it unorigional when a character is made and a second one is made to be different, but posses the exact same body shape and form but some features are changed

Thank you. BTW, this wasn't a collaboration, the materials from those other users were stock images, premade textures open for use by other deviants.
Though it's difficult to tell in the games themselves, I believe Super Sonic is gold, Super Shadow is lemon-chauffeur, and Silver is white-gold.
If you full view, you can see that I also made their eyes different colors. S Sonic has red, S Shadow has dark red, and I gave S Silver an orange-red.

Daw, shame to see this didn't get in for the contest on time. Its certainly something different rather than just the usual "i pose these characters together on a simple background".
Almost reminds me a bit of my fan supers, hanging about in a place like that. But thats the amusement i suppose. i wouldive voted for this had it been in the contest. So props there.

Yeah, the contest had already been extended, so I can't really complain. I almost made it in, but something came up with delayed me by three days. Which is ironic because I missed by contest submission date by three days (even though after it was over, I slowed my pace considerably since I no longer needed to rush).

The last contest was six months long, correct? Oh, eight months, it seems. *earlier reply was from February* and it got more entries than usual. So, I guess that's a pretty good number to go with, six to eight.

Great job! I really like how the shrine looks so realistic. The positions look quite natural as well!

Thank you. I decided to use textures for the rock surface of the shrine as well as the grass. I attempted to draw the rock myself first, but it turned out terrribleeeeeeeee. I think this is the first time I've used a texture in my art, but am happy with the result.
Hehe, I had to adjust many of the positions from my initial sketches, but I didn't change them too much. Knuckles, I think, had the most changes.
