Sort of a response to the "I ship pairings that make sense" stamps I've seen around.Sure, it's fine to ship canon or accurate pairings. I know I like shipping some characters that have cute canon interactions. But acting like your "canon" pairing is somehow "better" than a crack pairing? Uh, cool your tits.
also because i'm just embarrassed by people who think that shipping a crack pairing, or enjoying a pairing's smut fanart/fanfiction is somehow a "dishonor" to the character. holy. crap. they're FICTIONAL CHARACTERS. it's impossible for them to get upset by how fans portray them. c'mon.

I am a boy but I ship both Taki and Maxi from Soul Calibur , look even their names rhyme. While for my gay pairing, I usually choose Maxi agian, this time with Mitsurugi. Both boys would be an interesting couple.

Sadly I know quite a few people that hate or just don't understand fanon and shipping, even if two canon characters act slightly out of character. What they don't seem to understand is, those characters are fictional, i.e. not real people.

Sometimes the creators really don't appreciate having characters shipped.
For example, Alex Hirsch absolutely despises Pinecest as Dipper and Mabel are based off him and his sister yet people do not respect this.
You can ship what you want but do respect the creator's wishes.

The fictional characters won't but the creators will. Be careful who's characters you ship. I see people taking others OCs and changing their orientation and shit and it is NOT OK.

I cant completely agree with this, I have fully fleshed out OCs that are my babies and I wouldnt want anyone doing what most fanfic writers do. There is such a thing as respecting a character, yeah they are fictional, but part of the reason we like them so much is because they are real in our minds

Unless you hear that the creator of the characters would be extremely uncomfortable about it though. Then you kind of should respect their wishes. Otherwise, go for it
