I was inspired by ~InnocentiaSanguinis 's fanfic (well, the prologue) [link]I felt like drawing Eliwood and Ninian after reading it... And she told me why I wouldn't. So, here it is. My favourite size and all. Big enough to be detailed, not big enough to be too detailed.
Though this scene isn't a direct representation of the story's, it still holds elements of the scene. Like the flower, for which Eliwood went all the way to Ilya. On that trip he fell down a cliff and also got a little frostbite (for those that aren't familiar with the world of Fire Emblem 7, Ilya is a very cold, mountainuous land in the north of Elibe which houses the Pegasus Knights. Pherae, Eliwood's domain, in is the south) so I drew him with bandages on his hands.
I had originally planned on giving him bruises as well, but left it out. ^^'
This was extremely enjoyable to paint. But once again, Eliwood's head was causing me the usual troubles. Eliwood's hair and I don't get along very well. ._.'
But after severe editing really... I think it looks alright. I'm pleased with my mountaintop in the background... and I don't feel comfortable gving people purple skin. But painting the background first made it feel more natural.

Yep, I do. :3 And it's indeed not too far away. A friend of mine, who lives closer to the border than I do, sometimes went shopping in Germany. I think it was in Aken... but I can't remember precisily.
I've been to (I'm gonna write the German name for the city, as I currently have no idea what the correct English one is, just the Latin one. XD) KΓΆln and Xanten, respectively 2 and 6 years ago. First one for German class, second one for Latin. I am ashamed to admit it, but I forgot most of the grammar rules. ._.' Except one.
It looks good on him, though. x) About a year ago, I made a big FE themed drawing, but I had to abandon the project because of Mister Pherae's hair. |D;

Yes, I am. Since Belgium is a trilingual country, we are required to study all three of them. But in Flanders they are compulsary, I heard that in Wallonia you're not required to learn Flemish/Dutch.
