gorgeous set! How many of those pieces would a bride wear.
i wonder if/when i get married what pieces would work with an American style wedding dress. I had not considered wearing a kanzashi, but these are too pretty and beats tiara's any day.

ok thankyou!! I will keep this in mind. IDK if hiding the bride's face with a veil is still done today, but do you think a kanzashi set would look nice placed with one? I hadn't considered ever planning my wedding but my b/f keeps bringin it up (he's meeting my dad next month and I know he will ask for permission) so I think it's best to be prepared. My b/f is Mexican so including a Japanese theme into or wedding might be tough but i really want to have a few things Japanese when we get married(head piece and maybe table settings)

Oh that's exciting! I think it would really depend on the type of kanzashi. I would be concerned about using a kanzashi with falls just because of their wire construction at the back. The veil might get caught between the flowers and re-arrange the flower arrangement (I've seen this happen at a few weddings before - particularly with people who are not used to wearing kanzashi). I would probably go with something sturdier like a clip, comb, or crown kanzashi with the veil. It will be one less thing for the bride to think about keeping looking nice on the big day.

These are stunning! If you were making them only for love, I would ask if you would consider making a tutorial. I love seeing how beautiful things are made. (coughs) I'm also one to watch all of the "extras" on DVDs to see how they put together the story as they did.

Calla lilies! XD I have a friend who loves those so much. Incidentally, she's also making wedding plans soon. I'll definitely recommend you to her for the comb on her bridal veil.

I've been trying to get a decent looking cala lily for a couple months now, to make a brooch for my mom.
