Back in the 70's there were these cute little commercials for orange juice featuring The Florida Orange Bird. He was created by Disney and one of their lesser known creations. They made a few figures of him, but he never caught on. A shame because I loved him and still have my toy bank of him that's adorable. I think he deserves more art and attention and it was a great mascot for the citrus industry.Related content

Never heard of him. Downright cute lil guy though. Maybe Donald should have gone after him instead of the Aracuan bird.

Yeah, really old character that was very obscure. I have a bad habit of choosing favorites out of the stuff that doesn't do well and is hardly known. But he's very cute. That would have been nice. I'd love to see Disney bring him back.

A while ago I saw merchandise of him, at Disney Store.com, but I didn't know who he was. However, I really really liked him, and I thought maybe he was a new creation.
Honestly, the way I see it, he's in the underated section sadly, with Ludwig Von Drake and a bunch of others. This bird is too awesome to be unused.

Thank you for the comment. I'm glad you like him. I remember the commercials with the Florida Orange Bird when I was very young and always loved him. He was so happy and everything was just relaxing about it. I really should draw him more. I wish he were more well known. I liked Von Drake too. Thank you for the fave.

They should put the Florida Orange Bird back in production and make him appear in newer commercials of Florida Orange Juice (if it's still around)
The bird should be either computer animated or 2d drawn.

Not directly but many orange juice boxes say things like 100% pure Florida orange juice. Tropicana uses Florida oranges. They should adopt him as his mascot. More kids would like that.
