Well as long as their language and culture doesn´t die out, I´m as a German are fine
with the situation. Autonomy is ok even tho it´s perfect concerning my patriotic feelings ofc

well, this is greater Italy concept, anyway i like Alto Adige to be Italian even in a little conception because it is situated south of Alps, so it's italian, anyway

Mh I did drive many times down to Italy already, since I live in Bavaria and we´re mad
for Lago di Garda. There is one point in the Alps where the colour and nature is changing
from northern to southern. The northern alps are more blue-greyish, the southern turn
more orange-greyish. At that point you always know (geographically) this is Italy.

But Bozen looks still very northern

It´s surely the transition of our cultures, tho.

i've been there too and i've never noticed such a difference, i mean the landscape changes because you are in mountains and not in plains but this happens wherever in the world, even in Italian Appenini mountains, it seems to me undeniable that water drainage system makes Alto Adige Italian, at least geographically speaking.....
