Here's the progress for my Sailor Venus , I thought I'd share it here for you guys to see and hopefully find it helpful
MOST ASKED QUESTION - What did you do to the outline at panel 3? : I removed the outline layer leaving just the flat color layer. From there , it will definitely leave some ugly gap which you need to fill those in Keep refining and take your time. Patience is the key , like ALWAYS.

Sometimes I colored over the outline too , it really depends on which you find is easier

How long did this entire progress take you, in terms of hours spent on the project, if you have any idea? Your work is really inspiring, and is always wonderful! I am trying to get started with digital art, but sometimes am lacking in the "patience factor" hahaha. I am very appreciative of your taking time into your art and sharing it with everybody, and I am really curious! Thank you so much!

Unlike my Mercury piece this one actually took me near 24 hours, I don't usually take that long and I don't know why lol. But yeah , just be patient and take your time. All the best!

question: I notice there's a pretty big jump from line art to tonal modeling, do you lock the color layers and paint then begin your values?

I do not see the quality of digital art sometimes, but really amazing to look at the process. Not that I do not like digital art, just find more interest in completed hand-drawn works. Great job!

The title says Sailor Mercury when the subject is clearly Sailor Venus.
