Description
The King & Queen Towers in the Atlanta Suburb of Sandy Springs.Apparently, this is an unofficial name, but King and Queen towers are how they are known locally.
They bear the distinction of being the tallest buildings in the US in a suburban setting.

These buildings are part of the Concourse at Landmark Center. The official names of the two buildings are Concourse Corporate Center V and VI.

I remember my mom telling me while we were driving in the car that those were the "King and Queen" towers when I was a little girl.
If my memory is correct, the one on the left is the "KING", and the one on the right is the "QUEEN".
I used to drive past those ALL THE TIME, and nowadays whenever I do, I get nostalgic.

The King and Queen! I've lived 5 minutes away from them for 16 years now and I have no idea what their actual names are. You really captured them in just the right way. I wish they always looked this stunning.

I've never been in them, but they are certainly pretty cool buildings. I didn't know until I started trying to find out if the appearance as chess pieces was intentional that they have the distinction of being tallest suburban buildings.
