Description The Fabulous Fox, an Atlanta institution, and an icon that was very nearly demolished before it was saved and preserved for future generations to enjoy. www.foxtheatre.org/

Not an easy one to photograph, with the trees surrounding it, but this particular print has been one of my most popular ones every since...

I used to live across the street from there, it was 710 peachtree street, I had a nice view over it. Great memories, and beautifull theater.

Peachtree St is an interesting place. I think The Fox and Gladis Knight's Chicken and Waffles are my favorite two sites out there.

These shots were part of a series I was working on of what I thought to be iconic symbols of the city. I still want to work on it more.

I saw the Fox the first time in High school when my class came up to see Cats. Incredible place.

I haven't been to a show at the Fox since Cats years ago, but it's a grand old place, all still original period.

Thanks!

You've done really well with this one, I just love the angle and the colours are so vibrant I really like it

I still want to try this one again, at night sometime when the marquee is lit up. I like it, but I think I could come up with something more original - it doesn't help that this sign is majorly photographed already... and surrounded by trees...

But thank you! I'm glad it's a good one!

Got to love those fall skys! On clear days anyway. Today is all grim and gray, but those can be cool, too!

This is one I want to do a night shot of some time, maybe when there's a show and people are going in. I'm thinking low where I can see the sign lit up and people queing up.

You're going to go lie on the floor infront of a crowd of people? Fair enough.

heh, not quite - more like squat in front of one of the trees near the entrance where I could (hypothetically) get a shot of the marquee lit up and people going in

don't hold your breath of course, it could be an idea without execution for quite some time
