Description Just a dragonfly I spotted while on my way to take the pictures of the stream and tree.
...I'll be honest, most bugs creep me out, especially the ones that fly. I prefer watching them when they're sitting on something, like that cement road-liner above (no idea what they're called). I don't mind caterpillars though, or small snails...

Anyway, a bit of post-pro in GIMP, as usual

it was kinda huge, actually - I'd say it was about...6cm wide total? not sure.

exactly, it's a pain it's like your brain doesn't want you to say it, so it keeps the word out of reach, and you have to fight it to gain access to that word...

...kinda like in Windows!

yep, it is grand..ive no complaints.. but i study computing in college, and when we covered things like how windows handles deadlock ect... its pretty poor

picture...2 processess ok (A and B), process A has taken some resourses but needs more ok.. now process B has taken the resources that A needs, and needs the resources A has to finish.....

Basically A is waiting for B to finish and B is waiting for A to finish... so neither can finish, and the system locks up.. DEADLOCK!!

...thats a very simplistic version... haha

not really a tug of war.. they just freeze up... thats a very simplistic situation.. in real life theres bound to be more than just the 2 processes...haha

its interesting, i covered it when i covered Operating systems...also viruses.. now there interesting stuff...amazing how they work
