You watched "Eureka Seven" seven times, I see what you did there!
Haven't seen it myself yet, but I did hear of it a lot over the years! Might give it a try sometime! What genre is it anyway?

I have all 50 episodes on DVD, didn't really have the time to watch Astral Ocean yet though hahaha

It's really worth it. 
Without wanting to spoil but at the beginning the Anime looks like it has a comedy genre.. 
But how further you get into the story - it darker and less funny it actually gets. 

Genres... Hmh Shounen, Drama, Mecha (Sci Fi? kinda, because of the LFOs) and Action I would say.

In my opinion a real masterpiece (eureka seven is by the way made by the mangaka/ author from Deadman Wonderland!) because it deals with a lot of (social) problems... love, family, acceptance,  there even is a "war" against a really innocent religion.. but because other people don't know it the military (tries to) kill / has killed all people that belonged to it. 

All in all.. hmh.. the anime is for a good laugh.. but have tissues with you.. I think all in all my heart broke a couple of times there XD

It is possible that Renton, the protagonist, will be getting on your nerves from time to time... 
But I think he has this really... annoying side because Eureka Seven also shows the innocence of a child... and Renton is super naive too. 

When you watch Eureka Seven you ALWAYS have to pay attention, I've learned that after watching the entire anime for the third time ... still finding new things XD
The anime is super confusing from time to time.. 
I forgot to mention that it also puts up a lot of psychological questions... and sometimes the anime even plays with the psychological thinking of the characters. XDD
Argh I could talk hours about it ><

On a scale to Shinji (mildly annoying in my opinion...seriously I get why he acts the way he acts because shitty parents and fighting world ending battles at 14) and Asuka (OH MY GOD NOTHING CAN SAVE THIS BITCH), like what are we talking about here?
On another note I regard Asuka as one of the most annoying characters of all time, at least in the anime....well until I've seen this bitch!
Believe it or not she makes Asuka look almost like a reasonable person...almost!
Like I've never seen a single character ruin an anime for me! I've pushed myself to about ep4, after that I stopped watching anime for at least a couple of months! It took Attack on Titan to get me back in the game!

Hey at least he doesn't force his sibling to play dirty ero games in order so they can "Understand" each other better! Seriously if you love anime stay away from Oreimo! It will ruin your taste buds!

I watched Boku no Pico and I still love Anime hahaha. 
I watched a lot of stuff already .. so it's all fine xD

Yeah me too! I was watching anime on TV back in the day, since I was six I believe! I grew up in a pretty remote place in the world so I watched it on German TV. That way I pretty much ended up learning the language almost pitch perfect XD (I'm kinda a little rusty now though).
As for Boku no Pico....now I haven't seen it, but from what I've been told it's like Pedobears wet dream or something!

Then you watched it on the channel RTL 2 I believe XD
I also was six when i started watching  anime... but I started watching it when it was running on MTV late at night. 
Later I switched to RTL2 because they showed Sailor Moon, Ranma, Inuyasha and so on XD

And Boku no Pico is the worst. 
I actually laughed the entire anime (3 episodes) because I couldn't believe that they were serious with that..

Oh God RTL2! That use to be a damn good TV channel! I don't watch German TV as much these days or any TV for that matter but I've had a look at RTL2 recently....and oh mein Got! They filled it with reality TV garbage to the brim, it was for lack of a better word ABSCHEULICH! That poor TV channel, wonder what led to that kind degradation.
I know how stupid I'm sounding right now, but it genuinely made me sad to see it that way!

They switched the anime programme to sunday morning.. 
I think they put it out now entirely - what I can't understand. 
SO MANY PEOPLE watched the animes on RTL 2 every evening/ what do I know.. and then they did this ><
And it's just so stupid to put up reality TV trash on it... because EVERY goddamn channel is showing this trash now. 

That's why I am not watching German TV anymore :/ it's just stupid making stuff.. with really bad actors. Urgh.
