Description Last night for the 13th I felt like trying something a bit different, was thinking about pine forests that I used to explore with Hannakin as a kid and wanted to capture something like that.

Also was playing around with some brushes from daRoz -Β

Which was fun, nice to get some extra texture into my paintings.

Pretty happy with it, I think I mostly hit the sort of mood I was aiming for.

Love the movement, colors, and brushstrokes in this- to me there's something both appealing and foreboding about deep woods, and I think you captured that really well.

I really like the sense of texture in this piece. It reminds me of a lot of the woods back home.

I know Though I was also thinking of Albert's pine forest, too, which I think is still there?
And all the other ones we used to go a-mushrooming in, so it's not all disappeared
