Description

"He moves differently this time.. Like a master Villain with the capabilities of a monstrous beast.. Be on your guard boy.." - Old Hero

Personal Info

Name: Ryoken Kurogane
Sex: Male
Age: 43
Birthday: November 5th
Height: 182 cm
Villain name: Machine Villain, Legion

Personality: Charismatic, Intelligent, Ruthless, Cunning, Controlling, Pragmatic

Likes: Poker, Classical Music, Inventing, Seeing his plans come to fruition.
Dislikes: Villains, Hero Society, Narrow-minded Viewpoints, Others not seeing the bigger picture.

Quirk: Technopathy

Using his Technopathy Quirk, Ryokan is capable of controlling a massive swarm of nearly a billion termite-sized nanomachines. These nanomachines can be formed and altered into a wide variety of different tools and weapons, granting Ryoken nearly limitless capabilities. He keeps these nanomachines stored within his body via specialized vents in his upper back, and thus uses them as a way to enhance his physical prowess and capabilities far beyond that of a normal human's. The sorts of weapons that Ryoken can create with these nanomachines are included but not limited to:

-Blades: Ryoken condenses the nanomachines into either a large curved sword or into a reinforced, armor claw on his arm from the elbows down. When in sword form, the nanomachines are strong and sharp enough to cut through armored vehicles with ease. The claws are not as reinforced, thus lacking the armor-piercing properties of the sword, but are generally faster and can still rip humans apart with no difficulty.

-Rail Gun: Ryoken can form a small but powerful rail gun using his nanomachines, creating a magnetic field in which he can fire projectiles from at blinding speeds. While he can use typical rail gun appropriate ammunition for this, he can also condense his other nanomachines into razor sharp shells and fire them this way. A projectile fired from one of these rail guns is capable of piercing through several buildings with lethal precision.

-Tendrils: The simplest application of the nanomachines, Ryoken releases them from his back in crude but terrifying tendril shapes, which he can use to grab people or objects from a distance.

-Minigun: By using condensed, razor sharp nanomachines as ammunition, Ryoken can form a large minigun on his arm and fire a hailstorm of nanomachines, hundreds by the second in fact. When used this way, the nanomachines can rip through even the greatest of armor after only a few short volleys.

-Shoulder-mounted missile launchers: The nanomachines can be formed into small missile launchers on Ryoken's shoulders, and can fire a volley of small explosive devices at his desired target. It is believed that he keeps the ammunition for these launchers stored within his coat.

-Ravager Form: Ryoken coats his arms and legs with nanomachines, as well as form a tail out of his back, using the nanomachines. In this state, Ryoken is incredibly fast and is capable of performing feats normally incapable for a man of his age and stature, such as running and leaping off of walls like some sort of beast. His claws and tail in this form are incredibly sharp as well, and he firmly believes that as long as he is in this state, not even the greatest of heroes could match him in close-quarters combat.

-Laser beam: While not necessarily related to his nanomachines, Ryoken's helmet-mounted laser cannon is one of his deadliest tools. This beam's output can be altered to where it can either cut through solid steel or other metals with surgical precision, or powerful enough to blow up a house.

These nanomachines were originally created by Ryoken, and then later perfected by his colleague, David Shield, which he would later steal under the guise of his villainous alter ego: Legion.

Bio: Ryoken was once a family man of humble status, living with a loving wife and son and providing for them by working as an on-and-off private investigator. Like many, he was content with the state of society, having become comfortable and relaxed knowing that Heroes were keeping the peace. This relaxed nature would slowly but surely be called into question after the retirement of All-Might, as Ryoken soon learned that the entirety of the society that he had come to depend on for safety was much more fragile than it appeared without it's supposed "Pillar" of peace. At some point, Ryoken became aware of the supposed "Quirk Singularity'', a doomsday theory in which Quirks would mix and combine to a point where mankind is incapable of controlling their own power, and thus doom the world. Believing this theory to be true, after having witnessed the events of Kamino Ward, Ryoken's faith in the strength and capability of Hero Society was further brought into question.

Things reached a head during the Hero Society's war with the Paranormal Liberation Front. Ryoken was taken aback by the fact that students from U.A High School had been brought in on the attack, and in some cases were even put on the front lines. Were Heroes in that desperate need for soldiers? Was the threat posed by the PLF that great? He didn't even have time to contemplate these questions for long, for the monstrous tyrant known as Gigantomachia began a horrific rampage through the land, decimating Jato City, where Ryoken and his family resided. So great and terrible was the destruction, that Ryoken could hardly remember what exactly had occurred. When he had regained himself, Ryoken was horrified to see that both his wife and son had been buried underneath the rubble of their apartment building. In pitiful desperation, Ryoken tried to dig them out, but he was only able to uncover their upper bodies. Knowing that they would both die without proper aid, Ryoken desperately cried out for help, begging for any nearby heroes to help him, but as he looked around he could see none of them. All of the heroes that would have been there were in a blind and almost mad pursuit of the titanic villain that had caused this destruction. It was at this point, as he kneeled by his now deceased family and quietly weeping, that Ryoken realized that his fear of Hero society collapse and the Quirk Singularity were both coming true.

But with a clenched fist, and eyes filled with fury, Ryoken swore that he would fix both of these terrible things, no matter the cost.

Over the next 7 years, Ryoken would build up and form his own Security firm known as "Palladium". He would also create several deadly inventions to help compensate for the combative shortcomings of his Quirk. His ultimate plan is to create a revised and improved version of the compound that Kai Chisaki used to make the Quirk Deleter Rounds, and disperse it throughout the entire world via multiple cruise missiles, eliminating all Quirks from the Earth. With this, Ryoken will put a halt to the Quirk Singularity before it even begins, and will eliminate the need for weak and incapable heroes that the world had grown so content with for all those years.

Trivia:
-He is inspired by Yokai from Big Hero 6, Doctor Octopus, Bondrewd from Made in Abyss, Le Chiffre from Casino Royale, Royal Pain from Sky High, Senator Armstrong from Metal Gear Rising, Alex Mercer from Prototype, and Pitch Black from Rise of the Guardians.
-Despite his desire to eliminate Quirks from the world, Ryoken is often fascinated by certain Quirks, and tries to learn as much about them as well as their owners when possible.
-Ryoken's suit carries multiple inventions that he can utilize in combat outside of his nanomachines. These include, but aren't limited to, a laser cannon in his helmet, micro-missiles within his shoulder pads, jet boots, force field generators within his gauntlets, and several others.
-Despite his previous shock at U.A students being used in the war with the PLF, Ryoken himself seems to have little issue with harming children if they stand in opposition to his plans.
-While success is preferred, Ryoken does not punish his subordinates for failure if said failure happened within reason, and will instead reevaluate the situation to help both himself and his followers have better odds in future operations.
-Ryoken often tries to convince others of his mindset, and will go as far as to manipulate them in order to win them over. He considers this to be "for their own good."
- His theme is "Collective Consciousness" by Jamie Christopherson

Both awesome choices, especially James Spader for his English VA. I can practically hear Ultron from that mask, haha!
