Nice shot.. But! its quite a bit underexposed.. or under processed. When shooting at snow
ice, or sky I ususally got to a +1 exposure .(raw of course). Keeps the cameras meter
for underexposing whites or bright backgrounds. Fool around with to find your happy setting.

It does look a lot better... Thank you for the info,
since most of my "duck shots" are early in the day,
I will use this technique in the future.....

Thank you Cy, I tried to keep the "eye" sharp and let the rest of the pic fall where it may....
using the new monitor,,wow what a difference in the colors... these are brighter and a little lighter than the old crt...

oh yeah! went into the menu and did some minor adjustments to color levels and yup I love it

I do like the menu on my viewsonic, allows for great adjustments and you can save different settings for different work .

well I have it adjusted now, and the rest of the house "knows better" than to mess with the settings
