The beginning at last!I've been wanting to post this for a good long while now, and...well, here it is! These are the the first five pages of what's evolved into 'Alfonse and Domingo' (first story entitled "Market Day'
that I've been hinting at for a while now 
This is an original project I've been developing all semester. I have really gotten excited about the characters and the world.
There's more Alfonse and Domingo skittering around the recesses of my imagination...plenty more, and I hope that this is the start of something a little more long-term
Anyways, I've been having a good time I REALLY hope you guys enjoy this as much as I enjoyed working it up!
A combo of work done in Nick Bertozzi's comic class (lineart) and Mary Jane's Color Works class (color...
).The characters, settings, and everything in the comic are my original creations. No stealing.

EDIT: I went back in and messed with some of the little color things that were driving me CRAZY. And, of course, a format change because the horizontal format is SUCH A PAIN online

Ahh yes- you've found some of the very first stuff that set me down the path I'm on. Alfonse and Domingo were some of my very earliest characters with their own world and story

ok, this is amazing. i love the character design and especially your use of colors. once i got to the end and wanted to read on and find out what happens. just those 5 pages really got me into your world. im now gonna patrol the rest of your gallery in hopes that i can find page 6 and so on...

I can't get over how well...magical...this feels. The colours are amazing *is slightly dazzled* and I was completely pulled into the story (I love the next set of pages as well, even as lineart it looks brilliant)!

So I just remembered why I want to be a children's book illustrator. Okay, I didn't actually forget completely, but this definitely reminds me. My imagination after reading this is already churning!
