Megacosmichroma suggested "seahorse mountain at blood moon midnight",I came up with this.
I tend to research things a bit. I found out that the Blood Moon holds apocalyptic meaning for some Christians, the title hints at this. Astronomically, it is the final eclipse in a tetrad (cycle of four consecutive total eclipses), hence the four moons. Yes, it can be a spooky feeling. I used to SCUBA dive, it actually relieved some of that fear. I could see more of my surroundings.

Wow, very cool... I love the scale. This has a sort of ominous tranquility..... (seeing the animation first, I guess I know why I feel that way but I think it comes across here with the cycles of the moon also).
There is also something about the perspective on this that creates tension for me .... I imagine what the view from the tiny ship might be .... and imagine that they are ignorant of what waits below....

I guess I accomplished some of what I set out to illustrate. But, I think I overworked it . . . or underworked it, depending on which direction it should have gone. Anyway, I'm picking it apart now. If I look at it less I might like it more :]

Very interesting stuff.. I wonder what it all combined would mean? The horse from the depths will rise on the blood moon for the ultimate feast..?
