Thanks! Glad you like it! Long time no see (read err). I checked your last landscape, the castle. I like the design and composition. Maybe try bringing in some warmer colors and a little character for some more scale. You did a nice job with rocks, is that a custom brush or texture overlay?

One of the bottom corners. You might have to balance the rest of the image a bit afterwards for composition to work properly. Foreground / midground trees or whatever.

By all means do use references, just don't copy the entire thing. I don't use them because I found it boring, not because it's something you shouldn't do.
Here is a quick overpaint of your cool concept, look for lightning, composition elements and the character. At least you get to see how I paint a dragon in 30 seconds. Hope you like it.

For being done in only two hours, this is very impressive indeed. I like the tree in the foreground the most, I think. The mystic city is also pretty cool.

It's not exactly blurry, but some of the brushstrokes in the foreground are a little too big for my personal tastes.
