Agreed about smoking. I was sitting in the courtyard of a seedy, jazz playing cafe today and I wished I smoked because the atmosphere was so perfect for it. And of course there are those outfits that simply require either a long cigarette holder or a big fat cigar to complete them... Unfortunately though it makes me feel sick, and I am too much of a slave to my tastebuds to get over that.

The colors really complement the feel, I would imagine choosing color schemes would be one of the most difficult aspects- but that is one thing that really stands out in your work. It's all really quite stunning!

honestly, i'm suprised by the blurriness around it. i would have expected the sharp crisp edges that most vectors carry. i think it may have looked better that way, but there's no way to tell without seeing it... anyway, great job. i

The slight double image gives it a soft liquid look, and is a nod to my favourite painter, Whistler. Without it, it would look more like a cartoon and much less like a painting. It's pretty critical to the overall look and feel.
