Ba-Zinga, my male Eastern Painted Turtle. I got this photo of him last summer when the big oak tree in front of my house was cut down. Some drunk fool had hit the tree in the middle of the night taking a big chunk out of it and them swerved and hit my Dodge Durango head on! :/ He then took off. But the police found him a few houses down. He's lucky he didn't kill anyone or hit my house. If that oak wasn't there he would have! :/ Idiot.
Anyway I decided to put Ba-Zinga on the stump and get a few photos. This is one of the nicer ones that came out of that photo session. Oh and YES this is his real color. I have run into problems in the past of people thinking I actually painted him this color but not I didn't. His species is called Painted for a reason...b/c they look like someone painted them b/c they are so beautiful.
