Personality:Nashi is quite a laidback and carefree person, and tends to be quite my-paced and doesn't like to be controlled. He's generally an easy person to get along with. He loves meeting new people, but sometimes finds it hard to match his own pace with someone else's. He likes to help others, and once he's made a decision to see that person through with their problems, he wouldn't back down no matter what. The same goes for the promises he makes.
Due to this, he can get quite irritating at times when barging into someone's personal problems. He's quite blunt and slow, and can't tell when a person is fed up with him, which...can cause things to get quite..ugly at times.
He doesn't get angry easily, (which he did when he was younger), mainly because that slow brain of his doesn't really get it when someone's scolding or insulting him.

History: Nashi was an adopted child. An unlucky one, at that. In the beginning everything was going well, until around Nashi was 9 years old, his adoptive father’s business collapsed. Their financial conditions were going down the drain. His adoptive father, unable to recover from the downfall, resorted to alcohol and violence, and Nashi at that time being an adoptive child, was nothing but a financial burden. He would be constantly locked at home and was assigned with harsh chores, or be treated with violence due to his adoptive father’s anger problems. But Nashi wasn’t one to be constricted. He would fight back, only resulting in worse problems. Bruises, cuts, hunger, starvation….
He would often loiter around his town after school, only returning home when the sky had gotten dark. He has even tried to run away from home several times, but all had resulted in failure. And the beatings got worse. But even as a little boy, Nashi never gave in to his father. He wanted to be strong, because he knew that he had a twin sister out there, somewhere. He wanted to find her and tell her about how strong her big brother was. And that was the only thing in Nashi’s mind that kept him sane.
One day, on a bridge, he came upon a little girl around his age. A strong feeling of connection came upon him, and he decided to extend a hand out to her. He wanted her to smile. Soon enough, they became friends, and started meeting every day after school. Over the time they spent together, Nashi felt happier and more alive than he ever was. It was a strange feeling...one that he liked.
But the beatings never stopped. It only got worse.
It was just like any normal day when he met up with the little girl on the bridge. He would often tell her about stories of knights and heroes and flying creatures on their previous meet-up’s. That day was the same. They were going to have their usual little adventure around the town.
The adventure never happened.
He was thrown off the bridge. The last visions in his head were the little girl’s stunned face and then-- the bright blue sky

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The little boy woke up in a hospital. It was a few months past the incident. The friendly doctor let him rest for a few days, before kindly asking him some questions. It was only then when Nashi found out that he couldn’t really account anything that happened during that period of time.
It was all a blur.
He could faintly recall his personal details and that he was abused, and bruised…..and then….the image of a clear blue sky. And that was all.
Apparently he was carried by the water to the neighbouring town, Sugigawa, and was saved from the river by passerby’s, miraculously alive. and that the doctor realised some bruises on his body was due to constant physical abusement and reported it to the authorities. With the little boy’s confirmation, his adoptive parents were charged with abuse and sentenced on court. Nashi was sent to child care for a while and through legal procedures, the doctor took Nashi into his family.
Nashi feels like he now has all he has ever wanted….kinda. He loves his current family, but his blurred memories are like chains that restrain him from finally being free. He adores the sky. But he now has wings that cannot fly. He wants to put pieces of his memories together, but at the same time block it all out.
He now dreams of following his current father’s footsteps into the medical world, or to be a psychologist. But there’s this little stir in his heart…… as if he was searching for something before this all happened. What...was he searching for..? He can’t remember.
Other:
-He’s so afraid of bridges that he will actually tremble while hugging onto pillars and stands while wobbling across, almost to the point of breaking into tears.
-Tends to be vague sometimes
-Used to be able to swim but now he’s like a drowning cat in water
-Unmanliest shounen ever
-Twin sister is the little girl (wow obv) but the two so stupid they couldnt figure out
