Description
Aya Hisakawa is another actress of Sailor Moon fame. She is well-known for voicing Ami Mizuno/Sailor Mercury, the shy and intelligent member of the Sailor Senshi. Her element is water and ice, which is somewhat ironic considering her planet is closest to the Sun. Prior to befriending Usagi, others looked down on Ami for being an insufferable genius when she preferred to read and study alone. She loves math when Usagi and Minako hate it. In battle, Sailor Mercury may lack the raw power that the rest of the Senshi have, but she makes up for it with strategy and support.

Hisakawa is also known for voicing Kid Icarus' Palutena, the goddess of light and Pit's valuable ally. While she does play some tricks at the expense of others, she does genuinely care about the greater good and would even cheat death to save Pit. She's similar to Princess Celestia in personality; playful, mischievous, but wise, noble, and selfless. In Smash 4, Palutena is a newcomer and Hisakawa reprises her role, unlike in the English version where Brandy Kopp takes over for Ali Hillis. In combat, Palutena has a lot of unique specials, giving her more options than other characters. However, she's tall, lightweight, and has decent but not amazing damage output; thus, players have to really know what they're doing when playing as her.

Yet another role from Hisakawa is Cardcaptor Sakura's Kero, Sakura Kinomoto's sidekick and guardian of the Clow Cards. He drafted Sakura into becoming a Cardcaptor after she accidentally released the Cards into Japan. Kero speaks with a Kansai dialect since he was sealed in a book within an Osakan library for years. The English dub gave him a New York accent, courtesy of Matt Hill, the voice of Ed from Ed, Edd n Eddy. Kero is in his smaller, cuter form since his power was sealed for most of the series; even after awakening his powers he keeps his small form for practicality.
