"Mishka Zakarova is a priestess of the Nightmother, a goddess of night, darkness, and nothingness. As the youngest priest of the Night’s Church she has only heard stories of her faith's glory days and personally knows it just as an order of wandering priests. Already at a young age, Mishka showed a sense for the world of ghosts and shadows and found friends to play with among the lost souls inhabiting it. After a mischievous prank by her brother, Mishka was so deeply enraged that she prayed to Mother Night for her brother’s death, and soon enough a sudden illness befell him and claimed his life. Mishka did not grieve, but was content, and left her family behind still on her brother’s death day to seek out the Nightpriests. There she was taught in the faith by Vajena Horoshko and Konstatyn Urskov, and eventually made a priestess herself. Now, she wanders the land and treats with ghosts and other conscious undead in the name of the Nightmother. "
