When you draw your people...do you use any kind of helping lines...like this head 7 time in body thing(or was it 6?)...or do ya draw with just instinct?

It became instinct, because I took a lot of classes of living model (and I still go to these class by the way), it's the most helpful thing to improve.
But when I draw, I still begin by the main lines (such as spine, shoulders and waist) to decide of which position the character will take
