I hope you understand that saying absolutely ludicrous and ridiculous things like "If SOPA passes you could go to jail for drawing fan art" absolutely destroys your credibility to the point that if anything else similar to SOPA comes around (and it will) you and people like you will be the reason that nobody takes the protest seriously, thus allowing it to pass.

I wish the government would care about more important matters than the damn internet! Like health care, employment rates, military, getting the economy back in order and or anything other than this. But that's not what SOPA was about . . . it's meant to attack sites that principally exist to distribute pirated content, most especially overseas sites that are currently outside US copyright law.
I'm not at all in favor of it, but some of the anti-SOPA art I've seen (much more than just this) reminds me of the folks saying that the government health care plan will turn us into the Soviet Union.

SOPA has been shelved. There is now ACTA to worry about, which is far worse. SOPA, however, is dead and gone and not to be worried about anymore.
The issue I see here is that you yourself are posting something that is not yours to post, from an online generator of cards from a game so big that is is probably copyrighted.... and even worse, using it to reference a threatening bill that was meant to stop pirating - and would only have been ENCOURAGED by this.

SOPA didn't block anything. If it was (or is) passed (in the future) it would have eliminated all websites with any attachment to copyright material (i.e. YouTube, deviantart, fanfiction sites, other fanart sites, newgrounds, wikipedia, ect.). And if you posted fanart of any kind, a video of you singing/dancing to a copyrighted song, things like that after it had been passed, you'd face jail time. That's why people were so pissed about it.

That wasn't SOPA
SOPA is a bill that has currently been shelved. It was in the proposal process and people and websites where raising awareness to sway congress into understanding how bad of an idea SOPA (and PIPA) actually was.
Ironiclly Megaupload was taken down after the massive protests of SOPA and PIPA but it wasnt taken down directly becasue of the bill.
