Yeah, this update is super short. But let me explain.
I've done a couple of journals now explaing a current situation. I'll let people read 'em. But the long and short is that this is the best I can manage for the next 2 months and whatnot.
BUT
The good news is that this page, as I measured how much time I was able to work on it, could EASILY have been produced in less than a week.
If you guys don't mind this format, come summer I can pump out 3-4 of these a month, maybe.
We'll see how it goes.
This is kind of a title page of shorts. But it represents exactly where we are. It's time for the adventure!
I tried some different things here. One was using more colored shading. I figured that using Black on most panels was cost-efficient, but since I don't ink hard blacks into heavily shadowed areas, and want a more cartoony look than manga/comicy one, that the more vibrant colors would give it more of what I wanted to see.
Let me know what you think of that. Some people tend to prefer black, so I'm interested.
I also put highlights back in since I figured out how to actually do it right.
And here's Jason's new look!

You're right. The backgrounds were a little plain in this one. I guess it's cause it's more constructed and my previous ones were more hand-painted.

Nice Paraflinch poster
Does it mean that pokemon generally contribute more to pop-culture other than just battling for humans?
Or is it just pokemon representing the personalities of the humans in the band?

I love the Paraflinch poster ^^ I always liked little gems like these in stories/comics/video games etc. that have nothing to do with the story, but it makes the whole thing more... alive. You know what I'm saying?

I feel you! I love it when people in visual storytelling put little things in their world. It brings out the characters' interests, the world they live in, and their hobbies, fancies, topics, etc. It makes everything feel so much more believable and sucks you in.Β

Yay for being observant haha XD Looks to me like one of those dog shock collars XD Maybe to keep him from breaking Nuzlocke rules? Idk. Just the way he wears it on his leg makes it look more like a hindrance than something that'll be helpful to him lol.

They usually open for bands like Carbink-182, Jiggly Ate World, and Panic! At the Duskull, but I hear that lately their sound is a little more in line with Metangica and Sligknot.
