Visually stunning the contrast with the eye colour and the skin is amazing it looks like the internal light in the eye is the last to go. The effect of the cracks is a very profound statement.Β Β

This reminds me of the movie about a blind girl who receives a total eye transplant and ends up seeing messengers of the dead throughout the film, and at the end she saves a group's lives but ends up with shattered glass in her eyes, which makes her blind again. Not the whole movie, just that moment of glass in the eye. As someone who wears contact lenses, this would definitely hurt. But I love the golden iris and blue skin.
Β The reflections of the eye should all be facing the same way (top/bottom, left/right) including cracks. I know it's harder to pinpoint the small crevices and nuances of glass crack reflections, but you started wonderfully here. The focus is clearly on the eyeball, and as such, there should be a smoother outline of the iris- just the outside of the dark color should be less blurred. The rest is -ahem- golden. The lashes seem a bit too translucent, if smaller and more opaque strokes were used to define a bit more of the hair because the focus is fading from the eyeball towards the rest of the face. I really like the small pale dots that remind me of stars, or small particles of glass that exploded out of the eye. Perhaps some of those which are closer to the focal point can be sharper and edgier like crystals?Β

hey, here from End-of-Mediocrity !
just wanted to type down some stray thoughts, so here we go!
I like the colors, easy and nice contrasts. The different shades go well with each other. The shape is overall accurate to an realitic eye.
What bothers me is the outline of the iris and the cracks in the eye, the Iris normaly has a very defined outline, and I think it would enhance it as a focal point if it had a stronger offset from the background eye, then being worked into it like it's now. The thing abbout the cracks, that bothers me, the look a little blunt and the side that reflects the light isn't consistent over the eye. You could try to use a harder brush to get a less organic lock for the cracks, imo it would make this even better as it is now!
Anyway good job here!

You have really greats colors there : The yellow is amazing and it contrast very well with the cold blue in the rest of the imageIt really draw the attention of the viewer to the center and while there is not much details in the outside of the focus is keeped where it need tobe because of this.
The shatterring effect is also really cool, I like how it reflext the light.
Also the eye looks really realistic and is well shaded
My main advise to improve this would be adding details. The crakles in the eye could win a lot if they were inequal in there size, there it seems that you painted most of them with a brush of the same size and this looks weird.
Also when the eye curve the reflextion on the crakles should be less intense. adding some few smaller highlight may help to give a little bit more a detail look.
The eyelashes would win greatly if they had a small shadows or highlight.
Also in some part the brushstroke are a little too visible, it really draw you out of the image.
