Description my darling liked the concept behind the Banba one, but wanted to see something in gold with garnets and pearls. I do like a challenge!

4 & 6 mm garnets, 4 & 6 mm pearls, with gold chain, gold fleur links and ornate filigree cross. clasp is gold french filigree hook closure.

let me know if this new experiment is worthwhile.

this is up for sale, $40 (includes shipping, insurance, & pouch) - please note me if interested.

thanks! that took hours of re-arranging. *shakes head* me and drapes . . .

oh! and I haven't forgotten our little arrangement. still need to send you the preview pic of the gemstones I'll send you (the pics didn't turn out near as good as I would hope . . I really need a lightbox!), and I am still hunting for the perfect piece of lace for yours . . . will send you a link so you can decide if it will suit. I am at times far too picky! >_<

I can tell. I believe it was King Edward the First who was overthrown because he spent most of the royal money on clothing and jewelry. He was Richard's son. The English were were so upset with their new Queen (Edward) that they beheaded him I think. It's been to long since I read my histories. He was the King in rein during the Cantabarry tales stories which are all very political in nature.

lol . .ahh the irony! what a thing to be remembered for. silly little man anyway. I love the literature from the time . . so very symbolic.

hail to the KING (Queen) King - Queen - King....
If I remember right, he married a French girl. She was interested in fashion, and between the two of them they basically ran the country into bankruptcy to see who could create the best looking outrageous outfits in court. The entire court was trying to keep up. The peasants finally over through them because of it. The funny thing is Chalsers Cantaberry tales is about a group of people going to court.

a failure of the time period. too much attention to details up close will get you killed . . if you are a ego-centric ruler, that is. too bad most modern people can't apply a similar scope to their current "rulers". funny thing about history repeating and lessons never really learned . . .

have started reading those to my son. he finds them highly amusing! doesn't get the finer points yet (he is only 7) but I'm sure in time he will. it's never too early to start kids on real literature!
