Nah, looks great the way it is. Knowing she has an itchy trigger finger andyway. If it's big goes boom she is in love. hehe.
Even with the black and white it looks like you got a chrome thing going on nice shading to suggest that.

Thanks! A bit of a confession, though...it was inked using MangaStudio (which is an awesome program, but I hope to go back to traditional inks soon....)!

Thanks much!
Although to be brutally honest, it was a lot harder to "color" this in greyscale...especially when it came to Kei's hair.

Nicely done!
Coincidentally, I just got done with two articles on the Dirty Pair for Otaku USA. This reminds me that I need to track down the Adam Warren comics at some point!

Hey, thanks a lot! I appreciate it very much...the Adam Warren/Toren Smith DIRTY PAIR comics were the best, even though it was Adam going solo on the last few minis. If anything, those comics really solidified my love of the characters, and Adam's depictions of Kei and Yuri were excellent.
(BTW, if I may ask...is this THE Mike Dent who writes for Otaku USA?)

Wow...well, as a fan and reader of Otaku USA, I did enjoy the DIRTY PAIR article you wrote in the most recent issue! It was quite good and it's nice to see that the original TV series is going to be released in the US. I am still very interested in the new manga that's running in Japan with art by Hisao Tamaki (ASTRIDER HUGO, STAR WARS: A NEW HOPE manga). Have you heard about it, and if so, is it any good?

Thanks! As for the manga, I've only seen the first few promotional images and honestly, I'm not impressed. It looks like there's going to be an emphasis on fan-service--given that it's in Champion RED, I'm not all that surprised, but it still irks me. All I know for sure is that it's adapting the first story,'Great Adventure'; if Hisao gets Mughi right, I might just forgive the style choices. If I can get my hands on it, I'll definitely do a write-up.
Speaking of which, the promised crossover feature on the two Dark Horse-released novels is finally up on the Otaku USA Website!

Thanks for the heads-up on the new manga...I wouldn't mind giving it a go myself since I'm a fan of Tamaki's work.
I know what you mean about Mughi--I was so used to the anime version of him that it was a shock when I saw what he's really supposed to look like (courtesy of Adam Warren in the original BIOHAZARDS mini series).
I will check out the article on the novels; I was very, very happy to see them released in English (although I still have the Kodansha English-language copy of the first story that I found some years ago).
Still would not mind seeing a re-release of Crusher Joe, and perhaps a translation of the novels...it may never happen, but hey--one has to hold out hope!

It was one of the first ones I liked too. I've always liked Kei.
Good job on this one.

Thanks a lot. Personally, my favorite is Kei (got a thing for redheads, I suppose...) but I still remember being blown away when I first saw THE EDEN PROJECT movie--no subs, no dubs, but it was still a damned fine work of animation. Also saw a couple of episodes of the TV series and thought they were terrific.
