I've missed pokemon OCTs.... but I don't have the time to devote to be a competitor thanks to my job...
So a spectator is good enough! I can't wait to follow these cool trainers!

Personal Background

History:
Dan grew up in Castelia City, Unova with his mom, Rosalina Rodriguez. He spent much of his early years helping his mom in her salon, and because of this he didn't start his pokemon journey until he was older than most of his peers. Dan rescued a dratini from a discarded fisher's net when he was twelve. The dratini was young and imprinted on Dan.

Daniel set out on his pokemon journey shortly after and started to battle the gyms in Unova. And while is first few trials were successful he was aggressive and impatient. He wasn't the kindest to his pokemon when he was young and that is one of his biggest regrets.
Dan was set straight by an older trainer who wasn't too pleased with Dan's behavior towards his pokemon. He was taught from that interaction that pokemon aren't tools, they're friends, and partners and that changed his entire perspective.

Dan found his pokemon responded better when he wasn't so hard on them and he evolved a little himself. Dan eventually found he spent much more time helping pokemon and other people instead of battling for sport. He ended up joining the Rangers when he turned 20.
Dan was a Ranger in Unova for a little over four years. Eventually Dan was transfered to Kalos due to lack of man power, but fell in love with the region just as quickly as Unova.

Dan learned about Aitema Ridge in passing. He'd accumulated enough vacation time where he felt a trip was in order so he made his way down to the foreign region. He's not working but he still dons his blazing oragne ranger vest and is still more than willing to help folks in need.

Dan works to help young trainers starting out, protects wild pokemon from harm, and is a champion for environmental protection.
He's still learning about this region, but hopes to make it safe for people and pokemon alike.

Dislikes: Arrogance, sitting still, general disregard for others/safety, empty stomachs (for him or others in his company!), quiet.
Strengths: Empathetic and compassionate, stong in body and spirit, optimistic and confident.
Weaknesses: Short-tempered, impatient, impulsive, aggressive, stubborn, not the greatest at rational thinking, tends to go by emotion rather than logic.
