He also deals with pokemon rescues after or even during natural disasters, and will deal with people who abuse or mistreat pokemon. While daring and adventurous, most of his job is spent sitting and waiting for long hours until an issue is reported. Works out of Lumiose, but will work all over Kalos.

Daniel is an honest soul who tries his best to help people feel safe, secure, and welcome. His bright and jovial demeanor is matched equally by his desire to give and help others. Down on your luck? Daniel tries his best to be a good role model, and has tried his hand at teaching, but usually ends up being the student. Despite this he really does need to work on his temper. Daniel can easily get fired up and when he gets mad he can sometimes take things too far.
Over all the Lucario is a rock emotionally and physically. He's willing to give a helping hand to people in need and if you become his friend then you've just made yourself one loyal companion.

History: Dan grew up with a large family of Lucario. His dad wasn't around, but he had a great relationship with his mom in Southern Unova. Dan became pretty self-sufficient and was able to take care of himself at a young age. This led to him exploring a lot of the wilds and became familiar with many different types of pokemon. Well one of the weird forests he ventured into had trees made of rock and glass and weird sights and smells. Dan had wandered into Castelia City and was in awe of the towering stones. As much as he was excited about this discovery, something was grabbing his attention faster than the cyclists speeding by. Food. Well to say his first bite of human food was something incredible and dreamy would be a lie. It was good by all means, but you didn't see the chef look out to a young Riolu and offer him a nice steak. It was more like a young Riolu snatching a plate of ribs and running off to enjoy them.
Dan fell in love... with food, and the idea of cooking. It seemed fun and still held some kind of adventure for him, but not the kind that would make his mother faint.
The fighting type grew older sneaking more food when he could and trying his best to produce nice meals in the wild, though with big fumbling paws that became difficult.
Daniel grew strong by keeping his family and other wild pokemon safe from predators. He became bold and skilled and eventually found a way to impress a Togekiss with his prowess in battle. The Togekiss called herself Areli and informed Daniel that she believed they met for a purpose. The Togekiss was a devout follower of Xerneas and believed that it was fate that she met him. She took him from Unova, and brought him to Kalos. During his arrival the local pokemon community was plagued with what was known as shadow pokemon. With Areli acting as a healer and support, Daniel helped repel some of the shadow pokemon that had been terrorizing the pokemon of the region. Despite the hardships Daniel continued to fight them, believing to be victorious in driving out the threat.
Unfortunately Dan was informed by a young Murkrow that while he did help a small area, those six or seven shadow pokemon he fought were only a fraction of the army of beasts. The Lucario, Togekiss, and Murkrow (called Atius) held their ground for a while defending a small community, but eventually they were overrun and were forced to flee. While trying to plan their next move, Areli learned of the shadow pokemon's ultimate defeat by a group of Pokehumans. Dan became interested in exploring this group and after producing some leads, managed to find Pokemon Amie. Two years later Dan is now a fully functioning pokehuman. Areli and Atius stay close and visit sometimes, but for the most part Dan is on his own.

Relationships:

Ebenezer: Daniel was initially wary of the Spiritomb. Most of his attacks had no effect on the ghost, and he wasn't sure if the angry stone was an enemy or friend. Dan tries his best to be kind to Ebenezer and respects the ghost and his help. Often he tries to help Eben deal with his own personal demons whether that's sending supportive messages, offering food, or a big hug or sturdy pat on the shoulder.

Extras:
+ Using the move Sword's Dance actually produces a glowing white sword which boosts Dan's attack. After using Sword's Dance all of his moves utilize the white blade.

+Daniel's mom still lives in Unova, but is considering moving to Kalos. Dan tries to visit pretty often.

+Daniel loves to cook and will invite over complete strangers to share a meal with.
