Hiram learned through his youth that he can accomplish things with his power and force. He is extremely proud of his abilities and his strength is something he loves about himself. Hiram lacks any sort of finesse and will go all out on any sort of task. If someone he cares for asks him to do something he'll go above and beyond for them. Sometimes good and sometimes bad. Hiram struggles to make relationships. His presence is dominating and he is an intimidating looking guy. The friends he does make he deems honorary wishiwashi and would protect them with his life. Hiram is a hard guy to please, and is usually very stern, and very in control.

History: Hiram started out living in the Alola Region. The waters were warm, the food plentiful, the people kind. As a young single fish he was found by an aspiring trainer who demonstrated her prowess in battle and won the water type's respect. Hiram joined the trainer's team under the name "Trident" which he personally didn't care for, but hey, it's part of the experience, right? Hiram worked well with the trainer. She showed passion, and strength, and determination as she moved through the Island Challenge. Hiram became strong under his trainer's command and befriended the other pokemon on the team. Hiram grew in strength pretty quickly and as grass types fell under his ice beam, and electric types crumbled with bulldoze his pride and arrogance grew almost as fast as he did. He started disobeying his trainer. He was so powerful that he became irritated, angry even, when she didn't send him out first.
At one point she benched him. Refused to use him in any battles because he wouldn't listen to her. It wasn't until a double battle as she battled some team skull grunts who were attempting to steal pokemon that he learned the folly of his pride. He ignored his trainer's commands again and used bulldoze. Sure he took out the grunts, but also wounded his ally, a Mimikyu called Spectre. It was then he learned how foolish he had been. For a pokemon composed of hundreds of other pokemon whose main goal was to protect them and survive, he was doing a pretty shitty job with the other pokemon on his team, the other honorary Wishiwashi. His pride was hurting the ones he cared about and that didn't sit well with him. For a long time he refused to school. He kept to himself and wouldn't combine to make the school form for fear he could hurt someone else again.
His trainer usually an understanding girl didn't seem to understand why he wasn't schooling. She thought he was sick or that battling had permenantly wounded him somehow. Not wanting to put him under anymore strain, she released Hiram into the wild so he could heal. Unfortunately that also led to her releasing her Mimikyu too, who didn't want to leave their friend alone in the wild. The pokemon and their trainer said their goodbyes and parted ways.
Hiram and the Mimikyu (who branded themselves Delaney now) lived on their own for a bit. An odd pairing. The fish and ghost hunted for food and stuck by one another through thick and thin. Eventually the two of them learned about a device in a place called Kalos from a flock of birds that had traveled to Alola for the winter. Deciding their adventure wasn't over yet, they journeyed to Kalos (with some coaxing from Delaney). Hiram formed the school again and used it to bring Delaney with him to this new land.
It didn't take long for the two to find a dittech. They took on human forms and with some time they learned they ways of Kalos and learned to be human. With the help of many Pokehumans they discovered the people of Kalos could be just as caring as the ones from Alola.

Relationships:

Delaney: Hiram's best friend and partner in crime. Delaney is a little ornery and quirky, but Hiram loves the little ghost like a long lost sibling. The two are close and he's eternally greatful to the Mimikyu for constantly forgiving him for his mistakes.

Extras:
Hiram loves the water. His apartment was bought solely for the giant bath tub. He doesn't fit in it comepletely as a pokemon or a human, but its bigger than the others he's seen.

Hiram sleeps in the bath. That's his bed. Even as a human he finds water to be a comfort.

Will occassionally refer to himself as "we" but this doesn't happen often. The wishiwashi making up the school tend to be of a sound mind and they all share the same goal.
