Arnie loves to fight and spar. He grew up in the depths of the sea where creatures that lived there weren't the friendliest so fighting was a fact of life. He's not intelligent or artistic but he's hoping he can find his place in this strange new world. He's strong and hardy in both body and mind. It takes a lot to bring him down and he can power through most difficult situations especially if there are those he cares about involved. For a long time he was isolated in the depths of the sea. It wasn't until gaining a dittech did he realize how much he enjoyed social interactions. He's a man of few words but will always enjoy company of any sort.

Some things don't change, even when starting a new life. Arnbjörn is as stubborn as a Taurus and was in his youth. If he sets his mind on something it takes an immense amount of convincing to get him to do the opposite. It'd just be easier to cut off his legs in all honesty. Arnie isn't smart in the slightest. He's relied endlessly on his muscles and his luck. God forbid there be some kind of puzzle or something he couldn't smash with his anchor. Aside from being just plain dumb, Arnie is very protective of his belongings. He's worked hard to earn what little he owns and doesn't want others to damage his possessions. A lot of times he just collects things because he can, but greedily hoardes these items. Arnie spent most of his life at the bottom of the sea. He was alone for so long he's a little clingy when it comes to other people. If the night is coming to an end and a social gathering is separating, he'll try his best to keep it going or to convince others to continue to hang out.
History: Arnbjorn lived most of his life at the bottom of the sea. He would surface every so often when the seas got rough to watch the mountains of waves. Once when he surfaced to watch a storm rage a ship capsized. The men and women aboard were pulled under the waves before their pokemon could reach them for help. Arnie respected the sea, but saw no reason for these humans to drown. So he collected the flotsam from the wreck and made a makeshift raft of floating debris and weeds to pull the sailors on. He brought them to shore and returned to the depths rather promptly. A Chinchou had witnessed what the Dhelmise had done for these people and instead of mentioning the good deed, warned the ghost type of humans and their greed. How they would capture pokemon and seal them away to use as tools for their own personal gain.
Arnie was shocked to hear this and slowly this story warped his perception and how he viewed humans. He feared the loss of his freedom so he stuck to the depths of the sea for years.
Arnie lived his life peacefully. He collected trinkets and ornaments from wrecked ships and made himself a nice little home inside the wreckage of a S.S. Omanyte. He lived... a quiet life. Away from humans and most pokemon. Until he returned to the surface during a violent sea storm. The waves were so high and the winds so violent he didn't notice until it was too late that a massive ship was about to come crashing down on him.
The next thing Arnie knew he was beached on a small island with rain pouring down. He was stuck in the wet sand but could see a figure approaching despite the downpour and the dark sky. He recognized the human silhouette and lashed out. He wanted his freedom, he didn't want to be captured. But as his seaweed like body poised to attack the form changed into that of a pokemon... a Kingdra. The strange creature introduced themselves as Phil and explained they were coming to investigate and not attack. Arnie wanted to know how they were able to become human, and Phil told Arnie about the dittech. Arnie wasn't too sure about the idea of becoming a human, but when he learned he could be protected from capture with it, he was all in.
Phil took Arnie to a pokemon center, just to make sure he was alright. Eventually Phil got Arnie a dittech of his own and he began his life as a human. Arnie sticks to the beaches of Amie Isle and works as a life guard to keep the beaches clear and safe.

Phil got Arnie his dittech and that means a lot to him. They also are very entertaining and Arnie is glad to guard lives with them. Other than that Arnie has a lot more to experience with their friend but he's ready for the adventure.
Extras:
~Arnie has a tattoo of an anchor on his left wrist.
~Using the move swords dance, Arnie creates an anchor to use as a weapon to increase his attack power as a human.
~Arnie stayed on Amie Isle even after it was evacuated. He's visiting home and binding them with seaweed in an attempt to make them more water tight.
