Description
Making her first superhero debut, it's Lian Harper, AKA Speedy!!!This iteration of the most adorable little kid in the DC Multiverse is the daughter of Arsenal and Troia, and as such wanted to be like her parents. She is skilled at Kyudo, Japanese Zen archery, and being half Amazon, she has her mom's superhuman strength and knows how to fight with a sword. At the age of 15, she joined the current iteration of the Teen Titans, and is the best friend of both Irey West and Mar'i Grayson.
For Lian's look, I was definitely inspired by Mia Dearden's early Speedy costume, as well as the costume Roy wore as Speedy in the Teen Titans anime. The red hair was a look inspired by her appearance in Young Justice: Invasion. As for her parents being Donna and Roy, it actually make sense coming from a continuity standpoint. In the comics during the 60s, they were always flirting, and at one point in The New Teen Titans, Roy even admitted that he thought he was in love with Donna.

Thanks! I’m really glad you think so. I was inspired by a plausible scenario I was thinking of when I drew her: What if Lian’s mother wasn’t Cheshire, but Donna Troy?
And it makes somewhat more sense in my opinion. In the 60s comics, Roy and Donna both dated and crushed on each other, with Roy confessing that he was in love with her in the 80s. So I thought maybe Lian would have a better Mom in Donna, and thus Roy wouldn’t have to be a single father.
