When Ashanti was old enough to help teaching students younger than her, she was taught the move. Surf is not something she will use a lot, but it is nice to use to prank people on the beach.

■Reversal: An all-out attack that becomes more powerful the less HP the user has.

■Move Description: One of the moves she had trained a lot learn. She has never used it in battle, for her father taught her that it should be her last resort. She has taken that lesson to heart and will only use it as her trump card. By nothing more the sheer will-force, Ashanti can ignore her damage and attack at full force. Once she has used it she is pretty much out of commission. As she gets better at this move, she will be able to use it more, but so far, she is only able to use it once.

■Move Description: Skull bash is a moved that has been passed down from all the Bouffalants in her family. It is passed down from one generation to the next and is a specialty from her mother's side of the family. The better she is at it, the shorter the charge time. It still takes a fair amount of time until she has charged up completely. Which honestly why she prefers melee over moves anyway.

Ashanti can really be a handful. She seems funny and outgoing one minute, rude and aggravated the next. Some may be attracted to the fun side of her, but as soon as the realize how hard she is to handle, they turn away. Ashanti gives nothing less than "tough love" to those she cares about. She would rather mock and bully those close to her than shower them in compliments and encouragement. She will give them nice, not so gentle, headbutts to show affection. However, she is incredibly loyal and knows when to actually support them. Once you have earned Ashanti's respect and trust, you would have to do something really bad to break it. She would follow her friends to the ends of the earth and she will gladly fight for them. Getting into Ashanti's friend circle is rather difficult because of how she is, but you can make sure she will not betray you once you are in there. Her height is not the only thing big about her, because her volume is incredible. Her laugh, her sneeze and speech is louder than an average person's. It is incredible that there is no Exploud in her lineage.Her max volume can easily be reached because of how hot-headed it is, things easily irritate her and it is even easier for that irritation to turn into anger. Ashanti is not one to mess with when she is angry, because of how she was raised, it will not take a lot to make her violent. It is better to let her cool down on her own and figure things out. One surefire way to get her to her boiling point is to discuss opinions with her. One can never have a calm discuss for more than a few minutes before she starts an argument. She is so highly opinionated that differing views may often seem as personal attacks to her. Even if the other side is right, her pride will no let her admit defeat, therefore it can easily result in anger.

Hearthome, a buzzing city full of poffin and contest lovers. In the same city was the home of the Faye family, a relatively big and happy family. For generations the firstborn Faye would take over the city's one boxing ring that belong to the family, and as Ashanti's older sister was born, the tradition will continue. The other children of the Faye family would be taught kickboxing and aim to challenge the oldest for the ring. Her older sister was 2 when Ashanti came into the world and the two had a pretty heated rivalry. As Ashanti reached 4, her two baby brothers were born. Being the middle child was horrible. Her older sister had a natural talent for both the kick boxing and karate that her parents taught, while her brothers, being younger, had way more supervision. Ashanti was as much into her parents teaching as they were and found the treatment unfair. When she took her problem to her parents, they congratulated her on being blunt about it and showing spirit. She got extra training and as a small bonus, was put into gymnastic training. Things went really well for the family of six.

School went well for the young Bouffalant. She had a few friends and her grades were decent, but it was not until High School that Ashanti changed. In High School she was seated in front of an Eevee called Dahlia. Ashanti felt really drawn to Dahlia, she always sat by herself and drew. She never cared to introduce herself to anybody or be social in class. She drew a lot of beautiful dresses and costumes and when Ashanti came up to ask her about it, Dahlia opened up the door to the fashion world. The only thing in Ashanti's life up until that point had been fighting and training, looking good was the last thing on her mind. However, it quickly developed into the only thing on her mind. Magazines, make-up and new clothes were bought, training was skipped and Ashanti's love was for something entirely unheard in the Faye family. Her parents were actually mad at her for skipping practice, but they thought it was a phase she would soon get over and overlooked it for the time being. Dahlia and Ashanti grew close and it only made her interest for fashion grow. Her friend was so passionate about the subject the she honestly could not help getting dragged in. Dahlia brought Ashanti along with her to watch contests and they spent long hours at Dahlia's house discussing what they saw. Ashanti became the aspiring fashion designer's first model and the Bouffalant adored being it. The night she first tried on the Eevee's designs is when she realized that being a fighter is not what she wanted to do with her life. Ashanti wanted to model! She would completely break family tradition by entering the fashion world, but for Ashanti, it would be worth it. Fashion was something sh really burned for, it was fun! She could express herself in a way that she could never do before and her parents were not allowed to stop her from doing what she loved. When she brought up her new dream with her parents, they were furious with her. "You're a Faye! And a Bouffalant at that! Bouffalants are are not beautiful, they are tough!" that sentence broke her heart, but giving up was not an option for the girl. She would prove her parents wrong. Her older sister dismissed the idea too, told her she wasted her size and should rather focus on the upcoming matches than chase a pointless dream. Ashanti's interest and fashion grew tenfold. With Dahlia's help, she managed to win the contests she entered and when even that did not please her parents, Ashanti's determination grew.

Ashanti and Dahlia got into the same college, each having different majors, but seeing as they were roommates, it did not really matter. Dahlia went into sewing and design, while Ashanti went into cosmetology. After graduation Dahlia got a job at the contest hall, Ashanti was offered, but she would rather want be in the limelight herself. This though, made her contest entries much more serious, she was determined to win the big titles.With Dahlia at her side, she got one Ultimate title and that victory photoshoot is what got her really hooked on modeling. Her parents were, of course, proud of her for winning, but still held the belief that she would never go far. They never tried to stop her, Ashanti would after a while see how ridiculous her dream was and come back to them. It might take years, but her parents were stubborn enough to believe she would fall flat if she continued. They would not have anything against her if she did, she was still young after all, they tend to make mistakes. To prove them wrong yet again, she contacted a firm, but even they rejected the idea completely. A bouffalant had more luck selling sports gear than designer clothes. Ashanti was furious, this again? She took lessons, courses, modeled for ads, everything to get her into the business. With a lot of determination and stubbornness, she got in and she was loving it. However, now people started believing the opposite. Could someone beautiful really have fighting background? Ashanti honestly could not understand how that was a hard concept to grasp. She was beautiful and brutal, so what?

Ashanti's firm is what brought her to Lumiose. If she wanted to be big, that was the place to be. Lumiose city, the fashion capital of the world. Ashanti loved the city, it was much bigger than Hearthome and it surely did not disappoint when it came to fashion. She was sad that her best friend could not be there with her, Dahlia would have loved Lumiose. However, this was a chance to meet new friends. Friends with possible connections, or friends in general. When she heard about Argo Navis she knew where to look. She signed up immediately, knowing they wanted to fight for the use of moves was an added bonus. Moves was certainly something she wanted to use alright, and if Argo Navis wanted to fight for it, who was she to complain. If anything, this group might be exactly what she needed to help her settle in Lumiose. All kinds of people could be related to it, there should definitely be someone there who could handle her.
