A truly amazing work, you have captured beautifully the spirit of the Deinonychus.

Funnily enough, juvenile Deinonychus might had been able to glide.

Do you have a source to back that up? I would LOVE to see research on that! It would be so cool!

Parsons, W.; and Parsons, K. (2006). "Morphology and size of an adult specimen of Deinonychus antirrhopus, (Saurischia, Theropoda)"
Here, the forelimbs of the juveniles are noted as longer than those of the adults. The study also indicates that the ungal shape in juveniles was more suited to life on trees, but that is controversial. Still, the fact that juveniles had longer forelimbs and that Velociraptor had quill knobs when flightless birds lack those seems to indicate that eudromaeosaurs were better gliders than previously thought.

Very nice!
It remembers me of a scene of ice age
"birds have to fly" *trows a feathered theropod of a cliff that can't fly*

Gorgeous concept. It reminds me of that old movie, the Pebble and the Penguin with that one penguin who wanted to fly. At the end he did. It's kinda neat cus the relatives of this gorgeous creature eventually flew=]

Her name is derived from "antirrhopus" which is the species name of the described Deinonychus. I looked it up, it means "counter balance" (referring to the posture and tail, I'm sure) and I liked the "balance" bit so I figured, what the hey, Tirrhopi XD
And thanks! I hope to get a character sheet of her out so folks can see her colors better.
