Description Heavy Metal is here
This was an experiment I did to see how many images I could add to one gnome shell, mind you I did not add some as it looked better without an image, but it was fun experimenting with this one.
One bug (not really a bug): in the dash panel, it grows a touch with hove and selecting an icon, I could of banned that wobble but then the back image would of been super small so it was a compromise I made, if you don't like it get rid of the padding.
I will be making a metacity and gtk3 theme to go with this one.
It has been tested on LMDE with a gnome 3 shell, I will be testing it on Fedora 15 also.
Hopefully you will like it.
I will add to the gtk and metacity files in this download once completed and will let you know when it is done in the changelog.
Thank you
Sam
The wallpaper can be gotten here [link]

Changelog: I added two more sizes for the middle image in the panel, in case you want a different size, I have these set as background so it doesn't make the image go wonky.
I also added a longer pointer image, the reason for this was if you have a higher resolution then 1440 you will need a longer one to make the metal bar go all the way across, if it does not show when you add the longer one, bring it into gimpers or your favorite art program and chop off the right side of the image so the image matches you resoltion width.
Sam

Changelog: Sept 5 2011
I have the metacity complete, and used half-lefts SLAVE GTK3 which is one of the best I have seen yet, I made some minor changes to it to match the rest of the theme and will be making more later on, once I find out what changes gnome 3.2 brings, this way I have one version out before those changes take place, and the people who dont upgrade their gnome will at least have a working theme package with this one, remember the shell will be changing and so will the gtk once I see what changes happen in the upgrade coming to match the updates.
If you don't like the minor chaanges I made to half-lefts theme and perfer to use his gtk3 instead feel free to do so and here is where you can get it. [link]

This theme and the steampunk one I made will be changed once gnome 3.2 comes out.

For all fedora uses:
There seems to be an issue with the metacity file in the top tiling I did, it looks to short, this is in all themes it looks like, I don't know why it does this only in fedora or I guess any fedora based distro, but it does.
It is a quick fix though just open the metacity xml file in gedit and look for the tile images that have a height of 30 or 31 (I think there is only 4 of each (theres only 2 that do this in a set so it is eight in total) change them to 34 instead and it will look fine again.
I will fix this in the update to gnome 3.2 and add two separate folders one for debian based and one for fedora based distros.

Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hey friend , this is a awesome work!
Tes:
I installed it on Fedora 15,
I use two monitors to be 5:4.
The size is very good.
I also tried on a 10-inch netbook, with an optimal result.
From my two tests is good for all desktop resolutions.
Thank you.

Thanks half-left still couldn't figure out how to do the icon shrinkage and couldn't put one piece where I wanted it but got most done anyhow.

No problem glad you like it and I am happy it works in fedora also, never got around to testing it yet on the other computer that has fedora in it.
