Description This was a logo I made for the Writer's Guild Foundation (their old one's kinda....ok....i guess?) They were one of two groups we could choose from and this one immediately stuck out to me as I had a good number of ideas...unfortunately a lot of them were shut down because this is for a symbols class and my initial ideas were what my teacher called "narrative". But I like this one and how it turned out, it got positive responses from both my teacher and the class and so I'm a little proud of it.

Cool. Like Kitak said, I like how it incorporates the pen nub and film strip.

Nice logo - I love how it combines a couple of symbols: from the fountain pen nib to the old typewriter style font to the film strip

Yeah, that's why I chose it as my final. This project was fun though. The pen nib comes from the logo they still use (redesigned for this project of course ) and I used it with the film strip to make it a little more obvious that the group is associated with the film industry. The font of course relates it back to scripts done on typewriters (and keeping the traditional element of the company within the logo)

We also had to make letterheads, envelopes and business cards too.
